Restrictions/Eligibility:

•  An approved Southwest Virginia MRC volunteer in good standing

• Has provided 5 hours of volunteer service in the past 12 months from the date of the application

• Has been accepted, and will provide proof of such acceptance, at a community college, 4-year college or post-graduate education

• Confirmed GPA of 3.0 or higher

• If selected for a scholarship, the volunteer student agrees to remain active with a Medical Reserve Corps Unit, even if in another state.

• Student volunteer intends to continue their education in a health-related field (including but not limited to: primary, mental, public or emergency medicine, veterinarian sciences, etc.)
